HE B100000

B100000 is a bio-stable Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) thickener specifically engineered for aqueous architectural coating formulations. Sourced from natural polymers, it is a green, non-toxic, and readily biodegradable product, making it an eco-friendly and low-carbon choice ideal for various residential and commercial architectural paints and coatings.

B100000 is suitable for coating systems based on a wide range of emulsions, including Styrene Acrylic (SA), Pure Acrylic (PA), Vinyl Acetate Ethylene (VAE), Silicone Acrylic, and Terpolymer emulsions.

HE B100000>>>Superior Resistance to Enzymatic Degradation

HE B100000 achieves its biostability through the chemical modification of cellulose glucose units with hydroxyethyl ether bonds. This modification creates substantial steric hindrance around the polymer chains, effectively shielding them from recognition and attack by microbial cellulases. As a result, HE B100000 resists hydrolysis into nutrient sugars, ensuring excellent long-term stability in storage and application.

HE B100000>>>>Enabling Superior Color Development and Optimized Formulation Cos

HE B100000 offers excellent hydrophilicity and broad compatibility, working synergistically with various aqueous additives and providing superior color development for pigment pastes, which helps optimize formulation costs. B100000 is suitable for coating systems based on a wide range of emulsions, including Styrene Acrylic (SA), Pure Acrylic (PA), Vinyl Acetate Ethylene (VAE), Silicone Acrylic, and Terpolymer emulsions.

This image provides a visual comparison of the color development achieved with HE B100000 & B60000 versus HPMC when using the same amount of purple pigment paste. Testing confirms that HE B100000 & B60000 significantly enhances color performance.

HE B100000>>>exhibits excellent hydration and dispersion properties

HE B100000 exhibits excellent hydration and dispersion properties, allowing it to dissolve easily in water at any temperature for rapid wetting and dispersion. It dissolves efficiently even in cold water, effectively avoiding common issues such as clumping, “fish-eye” formation, or difficult-to-disperse gel particles that often occur with conventional gel products at low temperatures. After dissolution, HE B100000 quickly forms a clear, transparent, and uniformly textured gel solution. The system remains stable with no visible undissolved particles, ensuring excellent smoothness and batch consistency in the final coating product.
