RDP for Tile Adhesive
Redispersible Polymer Powder (RDP) is a widely used functional additive in tile adhesive formulations. It significantly improves the adhesive’s bonding strength, flexibility, and durability, making it suitable for both thin-bed and thick-bed tiling applications in interior and exterior environments.
Adding RDP to tile adhesives enhances substrate and tile adhesion, provides flexibility to accommodate substrate movement and prevent cracking, improves water resistance and long-term durability in wet areas, extends open time and improves workability during installation, and offers anti-sag properties for vertical and overhead tiling.
